Planning a new kitchen or just picking up a few textiles, most people try to find an IKEA discount code before paying. That search tends to end in a pile of browser tabs: voucher sites, forums and old campaign pages, each with codes you then have to type in one by one. Many of them turn out to be expired or not valid for your order.
Rabatta is a free browser extension that does the checking for you. When you reach checkout on ikea.com, Rabatta automatically tests the codes it has for IKEA on your order and shows you the result before you pay. You do not search for codes or paste them in.
What you get depends on what is active at the time. If there is an active code that fits your basket, Rabatta applies it. If not, Rabatta tells you so before you pay, and you can order without second-guessing.
Discount options for IKEA can be found online: on voucher sites, in newsletters and on the shop's own offers pages. But active codes and savings keep changing, and a code may only apply to some products, or may already have expired by the time you try it on a larger furniture order.
Rabatta handles that part. At checkout on ikea.com, the extension automatically tests the current codes it has for IKEA on your order, so you see whether one works on this purchase before you pay. If nothing applies, you see that as well, and you are free to order as planned.
Done by hand, the hunt for an IKEA code means checking voucher sites, signing up to newsletters, watching campaign pages and then trying each code in the shopping bag. With bigger orders such as a kitchen or a bedroom, it is tempting to try every code you can find, and that can take a while when most of them do not work.
Rabatta makes that unnecessary. Install the extension, plan and shop on IKEA as usual, and when you check out, Rabatta tests all the current codes it has for IKEA on your order. It shows you the result before you pay, so you do not have to keep track of codes yourself.
